Apologies..

Just a note from me saying sorry about the backlog on entries.  I went out of town for Christmas, and to my surprise I had ZERO access to a computer.  So, I again apologize, but now that everything is (mostly) back to normal for me, I should be approving entries within a few hours of posting.

Hope everyone had a nice and safe holiday!

So I applied for a bartender job on Craigslist or wherever and the guy just emailed me back asking "do you have a facebook" (capitalization and punctuation his). I do have a Facebook, but I've used it like once and I guess I should fuck around with it before sending it off to the guy. So what kind of stuff should I have on there that employers are looking for? Is there anything I shouldn't have? Will it look bad that I have no friends or anything?

Unless I'm correct in assuming that it was just a discreet way of asking "Do you have any pictures of yourself online, because nobody hires ugly bartenders." In which case, check.

High School Awards and Etc.

I'm writing a resume to send to various hospitals I would want to work at and I'm wondering if any experience or awards from high school (example: national honor society, team top scorer in varsity quiz team) would be worth while to list, or do employers look at this stuff and think "blah blah blah..."?

Would it hinder me trying to get a job as a graduate nurse to have a resume hinting at a lot of IT and art experience. Computers are obviously an important part of healthcare, but I don't know if listing these things would make me look sort of...distracted.
